Flipping Domain Names
One of the easiest strategies to make some quick cash with internet marketing is buying and selling domain names.
There are many different strategies with domaining including looking for words that are keyword typo’s, trend watching, or you can park and go. You can also do the same with websites where you buy and sell sites within 30 days.
We are going to look at the simplest strategy and that is buying domain names and then on-selling it (or flipping it)
1) Choosing a Domain Name
You cant buy one word domain names anymore, but you can try (and if you see one that’s not gone – buy it!)
It will be mostly two or three word domain names that you would be trading with. Two word domain names are more valuable and therefore better to trade with than three word domain names.
2) What do I buy and where do I buy?
You will buy only the domain name, no hosting.
You will be buying your domain name from a registrar site. As this is regulated, the price is also regulated. It will normally cost you between $9 and $19 (Aus)
3) You will then sell to an agent who will on-sell it for you. You will normally flip a site within 48 hours.
